Background
Zack Mullock is the Democratic nominee challenging incumbent Rep. Jeff Van Drew in New Jersey's 2nd Congressional District in the November 2026 general election. He won the Democratic primary in June 2026 to secure the nomination. 711
Mullock is a lifelong South Jersey resident, born and raised in Cape May. He earned a BA from Mount Saint Mary's University and an MBA in Finance from Saint Joseph's University. Before entering politics, he worked as a PGA golf professional from 2010 to 2014 and later became vice president of Cape May National Golf Club. He also served as construction manager for the Harriet Tubman Museum. 1314
He was first elected to Cape May City Council in 2018 and won election as mayor in 2020, with his mayoral term running through December 31, 2028. He is currently serving his second term as mayor. 121314
