Background

Scott Singer is a Republican candidate for U.S. House of Representatives in Florida's 25th Congressional District, challenging Democratic incumbent Jared Moskowitz in the November 2026 general election. Singer was born in Miami Beach and raised in Fort Lauderdale, and lives in Boca Raton. He earned an A.B. in Government from Harvard University and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. 12

Singer served on the Boca Raton City Council from 2014 to 2018 and as Mayor of Boca Raton from 2018 to 2026. 25 Outside of elected office, he has practiced law since 2004, initially at large firms before establishing his own practice in 2011, and describes himself as a small-business owner and business attorney. 12

Singer won the Republican primary in August 2026 without a Trump endorsement. 17 He has received the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and identifies with pro-business and conservative policy positions. 20 His campaign has focused on criticizing Moskowitz on issues including stock trades and federal spending oversight. 10
