Tennessee redistricting moves 4th District into southeastern Davidson County, altering race

Tennessee's new map moved the 4th District into southeastern Davidson County, including part of Nashville, while removing several counties along the Alabama border. Broderick's home in Lincoln County was drawn out of the district. The change was estimated to make the district somewhat more competitive, though still difficult for Democrats. A Tennessee Lookout analysis estimated Trump would have carried the redrawn district by 24 points in 2024, versus nearly 44 points in the old configuration.
