Background
Rick Crosson is the 2026 Democratic nominee for Wisconsin's 8th Congressional District, challenging Republican incumbent Tony Wied in the November general election. He lives in Green Bay and is a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel and Master Army Aviator with 20 years of military service. He holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Seattle University and a master's degree in public administration from Golden Gate University, and is a graduate of both the Army's Command and General Staff College and the Air Force's Air Command and Staff College. 1210
After his military career, Crosson spent roughly two decades in the transportation and logistics industry, holding executive roles at Schneider National and serving as chief operating officer at deBoer Transportation. 1011 He was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Green Bay Area Public Schools Board of Education and currently serves on the Brown County Library Board, with a term running through May 2028, and is listed on the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point Business Advisory Council. 111314
