Nicole Locklin is the 2026 Democratic nominee for U.S. Representative in Florida's 26th Congressional District, challenging incumbent Republican Mario Díaz-Balart. 221 She grew up in a small agricultural town in Oklahoma with fewer than 1,000 residents and later graduated from the University of Oklahoma in December 2009 and Santa Clara University School of Law in May 2015, earning a High Tech Law Certificate with Honors. 11

Locklin built a career in technology law, working at a San Francisco startup beginning in 2010, then as a litigation associate at Lerch Sturmer LLP starting in January 2016, before moving to Nextdoor in March 2020 and subsequently joining Databricks as Lead Legal Counsel in May 2022. 1114 She and her husband relocated to Miami full time in April 2024, where she continued at Databricks until June 2026, when she announced she was leaving the corporate world to focus full time on her congressional campaign. 111
