Background
Nathan Weise is the Libertarian Party candidate for Ohio's 1st Congressional District in the November 3, 2026 general election, challenging incumbent Democrat Greg Landsman. 211 Born and raised in Cincinnati's historic East End, Weise graduated from Cincinnati Public Schools, earned a B.S. in Organizational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati in 2013, and holds a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Government and Policy from Grand Canyon University. 132
Weise currently chairs the Hamilton County Libertarian Party and previously served as communications director for the Libertarian Party of Ohio for three years. 132 He has also been an Ohio delegate to the Libertarian National Convention three times. 132
