Mike Ezell is a Republican U.S. Representative serving Mississippi's 4th Congressional District. He was first elected in 2022 and has represented the district since January 3, 2023, currently serving his second term in the 119th Congress. 123

Born and raised in Pascagoula, Mississippi, Ezell built a career in law enforcement spanning more than 40 years. He served with the Pascagoula Police Department, as chief of police in Ocean Springs, and as Jackson County sheriff from 2014 to 2022. 135

Ezell attended Pascagoula High School (1977), completed the Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Academy, attended the FBI National Academy (1990), and earned a B.S. from the University of Southern Mississippi (1997). 13
