Michael R. Turner is a Republican U.S. Representative for Ohio's 10th Congressional District and a lifelong resident of Dayton, Ohio. He attended Dayton Public Schools, graduated from Belmont High School, earned a bachelor's degree from Ohio Northern University, an MBA from the University of Dayton, and a Juris Doctor from Case Western University School of Law. 13

Before entering elected office, Turner practiced law in Dayton, working in private practice and corporate law. He served as Mayor of Dayton for eight years, from 1994 to 2002. 13

Turner was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2002, taking office in 2003. He represented Ohio's 3rd Congressional District from 2003 through 2012, and has represented the 10th District since 2013. 38
