Michael Guest is a Republican U.S. representative for Mississippi's 3rd Congressional District, having served since January 3, 2019. He is currently in his fourth term and is the incumbent candidate in the November 3, 2026 general election for that seat. 1210

Before entering Congress, Guest worked as an attorney and prosecutor in Mississippi. He served as assistant district attorney for Madison and Rankin Counties from 1994 to 2008, and then as district attorney from 2008 to 2019. 16

Guest was educated at Brandon High School and holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Mississippi State University and a J.D. from the University of Mississippi (1995). He is a resident of Brandon, in Rankin County, Mississippi. 1610
