Micah
Quinney Jones

Republican nominee for MA-06; Army veteran and former Morgan Lewis litigation attorney running for open congressional seat

Background

Micah Quinney Jones is the Republican nominee for Massachusetts' 6th Congressional District in the November 2026 general election. He grew up in Santa Clarita, California, and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of California, San Diego, before attending Northeastern University School of Law. 27

Jones served as a U.S. Army officer, leaving the service as a captain in 2016. He subsequently practiced securities enforcement and litigation as a litigation associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in Boston from October 2019 until February 2026, when he launched his congressional campaign. 29

He and his wife relocated to Essex, Massachusetts, in 2020. Jones has not previously held elected office. 711 The seat he is seeking became open when incumbent Rep. Seth Moulton chose not to seek reelection. 38

Jones won the Republican nomination without opposition and is running on a platform that has emphasized representation for what he describes as a disenfranchised generation. 356
