Background

Juan Ciscomani is the U.S. Representative for Arizona's 6th Congressional District, first elected in November 2022 and sworn in on January 3, 2023. He grew up in Tucson, Arizona, where his family settled after immigrating to the United States. He earned an associate degree from Pima Community College in 2003 and a bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona in 2005. 5

Before entering elected office, Ciscomani worked at the University of Arizona (2006–2011) and the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (2011–2014), before joining Arizona Governor Doug Ducey's administration as a senior adviser and vice-chair of the Arizona-Mexico Commission (2015–2022). [5, 20]
